About

I am an artisan working in Ibiza, Spain. I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1976. My early inspiration came from the sculptor Nijole Sivickas, which led me to study fine arts at Los Andes University while also learning silversmithing. Before completing my degree, I opened my own jewelry atelier in Bogotá.

Eager to deepen my knowledge, I moved to France, where I studied jewelry at Lycée Nicolas Flamel in Paris and later at École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. During this period, I had the opportunity to craft four crowns for Laurent de Chavagnac and intern with Lorenz Bäumer at Place Vendôme.

My journey eventually took me to Idar-Oberstein, Germany, where I earned a Master of Fine Arts and was honored with the 43rd German Award for Jewellery and Precious Stones in 2012. I worked as CAD designer for Hans D. Krieger two years and co-developed the Oraïk brand from 2014 to 2022. Since 2023, I have been dedicated to rediscovering and embracing my own artistic voice.
